Privacy Policy
Last updated September 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Relayo (“Relayo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Relayo application and related services available at https://app.relayohq.com (the “Service”). Relayo is an AI workspace assistant that connects workplace apps so your team can search, chat, manage tasks, schedule actions, and receive briefings. This policy applies to Relayo and is maintained by Relayo.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers the Relayo product operated by Relayo. Our support contact is support@relayohq.com. Our application homepage is https://app.relayohq.com. This Privacy Policy is hosted on the same domain as our application homepage.
By creating an account, connecting an integration, or otherwise using Relayo, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information we collect
Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email, name, and email verification status to create or authenticate your Relayo account.
Workspace content: tasks, memories, briefs, messages, schedules, and other content you create or store within Relayo.
Connected application data: content we access on your behalf from integrations you authorize. Depending on which integrations you connect, this may include data from Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Chat, Slack, Notion, GitHub, Jira, Zoom, and WhatsApp (via WhatsApp Web if you scan the QR code).
Usage and technical data: basic logs and analytics about how the Service is used (for example, feature usage, errors, and security events) to operate, secure, and improve Relayo.
3. Google user data we access
When you choose to connect Google services to Relayo, we access Google user data only with your explicit OAuth consent and only for the scopes you approve. Depending on which Google integrations you enable, Relayo may access the following categories of Google user data:
Google Sign-In (authentication): your Google account email address, basic profile name, and email verification status, used solely to sign you in and associate your Relayo account.
Gmail: email messages (including subject, sender, recipients, body, labels, and thread metadata), drafts, and the ability to send messages and create or update drafts on your behalf when you request those actions in Relayo.
Google Calendar: your calendar list and calendar events (including titles, times, locations, descriptions, and attendees), and the ability to create or update events when you request those actions in Relayo.
Google Chat: Chat spaces, memberships, and messages you can access, used to search, summarize, and take actions you request in Relayo.
We do not access Google user data unless you connect the relevant Google integration and grant consent. You can disconnect any Google integration at any time in Relayo Settings or Integrations.
4. How we use information (including Google user data)
We use the information we collect, including Google user data, only to provide and improve user-facing Relayo features that you request. Specifically, we use this data to:
Authenticate your account and secure access to your workspace.
Display, search, summarize, and organize content from apps you have connected.
Power Relayo AI assistants and agents that answer questions, draft replies, extract tasks, prepare briefings, and take actions you initiate across your connected tools.
Create, update, send, or schedule content (such as emails, calendar events, or chat messages) when you explicitly request those actions.
Operate the Service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with you about your account (including verification and transactional notices).
We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, personalized advertising, retargeted advertising, interest-based advertising, selling data to brokers, determining creditworthiness, lending, or any purpose other than providing or improving Relayo’s user-facing features.
5. Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use
Relayo’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Relayo uses Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the Relayo application’s user interface.
Relayo does not use Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence (AI) and/or machine learning (ML) models. When Relayo uses AI features with Google user data, that processing is limited to providing personalized, user-requested features for your account or workspace (for example, summarizing your email or drafting a reply you asked for).
Relayo does not transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising, data brokerage, credit or lending decisions, or training generalized AI/ML models.
Human review of Google user data is limited to cases where it is necessary to provide the Service you requested, investigate abuse or security issues, comply with law, or with your explicit consent.
7. Data storage, protection, and security
Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your data, including Google user data.
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) to protect information exchanged between your devices and Relayo. Passwords are stored as secure one-way hashes. OAuth tokens for connected integrations are stored securely in our systems and used only to access APIs on your behalf.
Access to production systems and user data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to operate, secure, or support the Service.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We work continuously to protect your information, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention and deletion
We retain your personal information and connected-app data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
When a retention period expires for a given type of data, or when you delete your account, we delete or destroy that data, or anonymize it so it can no longer reasonably be associated with you, except where a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
You may disconnect Google or other integrations at any time in Relayo. Disconnecting revokes Relayo’s ongoing access via that integration’s OAuth connection. You may also revoke Relayo’s access from your Google Account permissions page.
You may request deletion of your Relayo account and associated data by contacting support@relayohq.com or using in-product account/workspace deletion controls where available. After we verify your request, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
9. Email verification and communications
When you sign up we may send a verification email to confirm you own the address. We may also send transactional emails such as workspace invites, security notices, and account notices. You can manage notification preferences in Settings where available.
10. Your choices and rights
You can update account information in Settings, disconnect integrations, and control who has access within your workspace according to your role and permissions.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact support@relayohq.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.
11. Children’s privacy
Relayo is intended for workplace and professional use. The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we change how we use Google user data in a material way, we will provide prominent notice and update this policy so users can easily find the current information.
Continued use of Relayo after an update means you accept the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
